Following the announcement of the new chapter of their life, reports emerged in the media about Priyanka Chopra quitting Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa to spend time with her newborn. However, a source as called the rumours baseless.

Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas are now parents to a baby girl. Some reports suggested that Priyanka wanted to focus on this new journey of parenthood, due to which she would quit Jee Le Zaraa. Asource has however dismissedthe rumours by stating, The rumours about Priyanka Chopra opting out of the film are completely baseless and untrue.

The couple also requested privacy to focus on this new phase of their lives. The caption read, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much (sic)."
